Seniors caught in the Medicare Part D coverage gap known as the doughnut hole are twice as likely to stop taking their medication, a new study found.  Penny wise and pound foolish?  One more indication that financial conditions carry great weight in health decisions and could be causing health issues that create more cost than it would take to close the doughnut hole gap.  Sigh, will we ever learn?
